At the beginning of the last century Ferrara is the cradle of a new industrial renaissance.
It is within this context that in 1924 Gino Sgarbi and Girolamo Chiozzi establish Officine Metallurgiche Sgarbi, Chiozzi & C and start producing household articles,
paraffin lamps and illumination lamps: the Stella trademark is born.
